Questions and opinions about the COVID, masking, medical, and more.
This particular journal blog entry is going to discuss several aspects in regards of the ridiculousness of the mask wearing not just in the reference of the figurative way when speaking with others and pretending to be someone they are not or what is known as lying, though also in reference of the aspects of the #COVID19 mask wearing. Before I post several aspects for looking into including a video I recorded in reference to when on my Medal of Honor Art Project, I have a few points of which need to be paid attention to. Originally I was not planning on actually going into much details about a particular event which occurred a few weeks ago though I did initially begin to write about it, I had changed my mind about writing of such; mainly because of the aspects in reference to not go into much details of because of the weirdness I personally feel at times in reference of some things I have done and can do. It might be considered odd in this era with so many people being into the selfie thing as well as other aspects, however I have also dealt with certain things in reference to what I can do which has been something I deal with; on top of the aspects of which it is not considered the most normal thing, especially in this era. While there are as I have seen and heard many who are accustomed to such and with as many oddities I have experienced one could wonder why something would be difficult for me to go into in a bigger way, the amount of backlash I have dealt with in so many endeavors has been a portion as to why such is something I am shy about.
I have been in a few situations which a couple people have been saved because of actions I have taken and whether it is because of my background and/or because of how I was raised and/or a multitude of other aspects including the reference to the aspects which I deal with because of my Psalm Sunday 2000 head injury, I do not know how to discuss or write of certain situations without feeling though it is a bigger deal than what it might be. In a situation many years ago in 2008 I got out of my car Zippy my VW Bug to call 9-1-1 to get medical help, the police, and fire department because of a collision which 2 semi-trucks were highly damaged and I ran to get one of the drivers out from the cab of his truck, despite all of the chemicals spewing out all over the internal portion of the cab. I used my cellphone to get him to call a phone number he knew and keep him alive so he could get help from the hospital, as I left a voicemail for his family. Later I received a call which the female informed me the family had not known he was on the road and because of the choices I made they were able to get to him at the hospital for what the hospital staff could do to assist him. Another time years before then had been a situation which a teenager had been attacked by feral cats and instead of an option of what could have been, I rushed him into my van to speed to the emergency room for him to be treated by the military doctors because of his dad's military which I could have called 9-1-1; though I knew it would have been too late for the teenager, if I had done so because of the time it would have taken comparatively because of the blood loss and what I had to energetically do for the teenager to keep him alive until getting to Fort Sam Houston at now #JBSA. There have been many other situations which I have done a few things where I could and personally, I do not know how to speak of certain aspects without feeling an oddity. In some ways I feel a bit conceited discussing such or even writing about such, because of that being weird to me personally, though I cannot explain much beyond that. Thus this next point is a bit difficult for me, though it is important in reference to the mask aspects going on in regards of the #COVID portion of what is going on.
Last week I had called the store which I dropped off my Medal of Honor Art Project pieces to be encased in glass to verify a few things which instead of taking the pieces in that evening on Friday, I chose to wait until Saturday to take them into the store. While I waited for the measurements which took longer than I thought would though I am glad I chose to take them in on Saturday instead of Friday because of such amount of time as the store would have needed to remain open longer and whatever plans each had would have been prolonged, though also this particular situation would have gone differently in certain ways. As the employee was completing the measurements a female walked up to the counter saying 9-1-1 needed to be called because of a person having a seizure in one of the aisles and as the male went to do so, I walked over to the area to see what I could do to help where I could. I did not feel a need to put a mask on, which I am glad I did not after the situation continued and points were brought up; in comparison to other aspects, only for the medical portions thereof in a prior situation during this COVID point in time. The female who asked for 9-1-1 to be called walked back to the location along with me to find the individual who was having a seizure and the husband on the floor, keeping his hands on the individual's legs as she convulsed. As the other female got something to put underneath the individual's head, I turned the individual onto the side to prevent the accidental swallowing of the tongue as well as prevent the accidental possibility of choking on saliva; while asking several questions of the health in regards of electrical implants and some other minimal medical background history, to then do some energy aspects I know how to do while the female who requested the 9-1-1 phone call spoke with the husband. Instead of the seizure lasting a longer amount of time and instead of the incoherent aspects for someone coming out of a seizure, when that ended she was fairly aware of the situation. Within a few minutes the managers of the store arrived and spoke with the people, as I walked off to get a wettened paper towel to wipe the female down and spoke minimally through sign language with the individual; though the communication was not solely through such, and the individual calmed down quicker just as #EMS arrived. If I had put a face mask on to assist that situation, there would have been furthered difficulties; though that individual who looks just like so many other people, most would probably not understand that the medical condition is something which should not have a mask on. Not going into the additional aspects of others' medical conditions in greater detail, the next portion of what occurred yesterday when on my Medal of Honor Art Project trip confounds me.
I was in Edinberg Texas to pick up 2 Medal of Honor rubbings for my Medal of Honor Art Project and realistically the mask makes my headaches and migraines worse, aside from other points. While I look though some might have difficulties believing of my medical aspects and I can understand the individual probably wore a mask because of the amount of people who have been acting similar to the male I dealt with at the gas station, this is a problem which others do not need such additional problems. I went to the bathroom after the several hour drive and went to pay for the gas, though the teenage male behind the counter started throwing a temper tantrum saying he did not want to get sick because of the COVID aspect and refused to acknowledge the medical conditions which I was able to prove the points in regards of being medically retired from the Army branch of the United States of America's Armed Forces. That teenage male made a big hoopla over the whole thing putting the next register sign in front of the counter, walking back and forth to the females who were doing their jobs and as he complained they rolled their eyes; telling him if he thought it was that big of a deal, to call 9-1-1. I am sure the police officers who arrived had other things to do, though comparatively probably a nice break; despite the teenage male throwing the temper tantrum about the mask situation, and making a scene of which he himself said he did not care about my medical conditions and my disability meant nothing to him compared to him getting sick. I admit, I hoped a bunch for that teenage male; and not in the ways some might prefer, though that is what it is. Thinking of the situation from the weekend prior, I know that teenage male would be as such to the individual who had the seizure and because of people similar to that teenage male was probably why that individual had begrudgingly wore the mask.
I have to admit this picture found on Facebook I have to appreciate because of the realities in many ways and aspects, well beyond my personal approval and appreciation of the 2nd Amendment Rights; of course including the appreciation of the Constitution of the United States of America, though the sign in the door is ideal.
This video is in reference to the after portions of the mask situation with the teenage male who threw the temper tantrum in my opinion as I simply needed to get the receipt for the gas while waiting for the gates to open, to continue on with my Medal of Honor Art Project. Though I had gone out to the pump to pay for the gas since the teenager would not ring me up in the store when the paper would not print the receipt, I had to go back into the store and more of the teenager male attitude continued onward which was when the police were called because he refused to print out the receipt and instead preferred to be overdramatic about giving the receipt to me while stating he did not care nor believe of my medical disabilities which the Governor of the state of Texas had decreed multiple medical conditions which were allowed to not wear a mask. The situation at the gas station in conjunction of what occurred last week is why I have put this journal blog entry together as I know there are plenty of people who are putting themselves and their health at risk simply because of people similar to the teenager, and not wanting to go against the grain; though it is needed, even though some do not care about their medical needs or their safety. That individual did not need to have a seizure and hypothetically if that individual did not have to wear a mask to prevent from being yelled at or verbally attacked, that individual would not have had to go through that at all.
Now while the particles from wildfire smoke are bigger than the particles from the COVID which in turn means the fabric for which the masks are made of would if it could help would need to be able to prevent smoke particles from being a problem, here is an article from #CNN which the author #AmandaWatts reports of the dangers from such and though does not discuss the portions of the COVID in bigger details; again if the masks are detrimental for the smoke aspects, then such would not be helpful for the COVID hypothetically.
This article by authors at #Politico discusses the psychological view of masks being viewed and considered as good behavior or hypothetically could be viewed, as social conditioning of the masses.
Thus now, questions and my opinions:
* Does it take a head injury to figure out whether some people want to believe it or not, there are those who do not have the capability to mask who they are?
* Should it take a head injury to figure out there are people who have medical conditions which are worsened if attempting to wear a mask, and that puts them in danger?
* Does it take a head injury to figure out the masks in the first picture at the top, is an ideal of how to view such in regards of the COVID portion?
* Why does it take a head injury to figure that out, and should it take a head injury to figure out just because someone does agree with something does not mean others have to?
* Should it take a head injury to figure out those who have sensitive skin conditions, eczema, etcetera will be worsened by the mask wearing no matter what the material is made of?
* Would it really need to be to take a head injury to figure out that police officers/military should not need to wear a mask as their jobs are difficult enough, unless the individual situations warranted such for the safety of?
* Does it take a head injury to figure out wearing a mask and covering your face reduces the amount of oxygen taken into your body, and thus can cause breathing difficulties needlessly?
* Should it take a head injury to figure out if you wear a mask and claim it prevents the COVID, then why would smoke particles be able to go through the material if it protected that much?
* Does it take a head injury to figure out that as Dr. Faucci mentioned in reference to the good behavior of citizens, then all of those who have attacked people for not wearing masks shows the opposite of good behaviour?
* Should it take a head injury to figure out posting signs on doors to prevent people who cannot wear a mask are excluded from most of those signs and thus, each one of those stores are discriminating against each and every single person who has a medical disability which goes against #ADA proceedings; and such is a form of discrimination against many, which in turn violates anti-discrimination laws?
Personally, I do not think it should take a head injury to figure certain things out. I know there are plenty who have not needed a head injury to be smart enough to see, and understand such.
