While yes there are many SCUBA divers who have survived the measurements of the civilian grade computer depth measurements as well as the military grade depth measurements, however the need to bring such in a more clear and concise way for safe ascents after safe descents for the long term healthcare of those who SCUBA Dive and #FreeDive among such types thereof is pertinent. Whether one began SCUBA Diving through the military in specific of the #ArmedForces for the #UnitedStatesofAmerica for my personal life experiences and choices despite not having graduated Basic Training for the #Army branch of the United States of America, began out of an interest of the water, for adventure, because of a relationship, and/or etcetera; if there has been travel upon a ship or submarine which the depth level of the ship area is deeper within the hull underneath the sea level of the water, this too should be considered as important to you as well.
For example if you have been on a #cruise ship and your cabin was in the lower levels of the hull of the ship and/or if you have been an employee of a cruise ship company or #USCG/#USMC/#USN which you would go below the cabins and into the lowest level of the hull of the ship or in such military situations in reference to the #submarine in the #oceanic waters; which for clarification a dry docked boat is different in the water when the boat is moving in any direction at any speed, in turn the area for the curvature of the hull of the ship upward around the middle portion of the boat is underneath the water. Whether the SCUBA Diving companies which make the products for depth measurements knew or did not know, the reality of the measurements as I have brought up in years prior is extremely important to bring forward for the safety of SCUBA Divers of each type. With the picture above to be able to notice the difference for the flowing of the water levels when accelerating forward, the ability to see the water tonnage pressure upward and sideways as well as backwards while not forgetting downward as the waters move a minimum of three to five times as deep for the initial thrusts of the water; as what is seen in the picture for the reference within my SCUBA Diving book series which in writing has the portions about the sinking of the vessel of the USS/USNS #GeneralHoytSVandenberg in the #BermudaTriangle region of the #Atlantic area of the ocean to create a coral reef from an artificial structure instead of growing naturally along the floor as it once had been; and when I landed at the bottom of the oceanic waters in the region, with the pictures I took after my #BocaRaton #Florida SCUBA Dive a few days prior to leaving from the #FloridaKeys in #KeyWest. The above picture is obviously of a smaller naval boat on the water in comparison to larger vessels and the tonnage measurements, though think about the water displacement possibilities in reference to submarines and their depth levels for the additional portion for #healthcare.
For those who did not know the specific history of #SCUBA Diving origination aspects for measurements in reference to #SCUBADiving gear, the original group for the along with #JacquesCousteau were from the #European areas of the world in various endeavors. In areas in the #UnitedKingdom, #Ireland, #Poland, #Germany, #Australia, and so on in the world; the measurements are through the #MetricSystem, and not the #ImperialSystem of measurements. Thus when #JacquesYvesCousteau and the group he worked with originally began developing the system of measurement for SCUBA Diving, the measurements were completed in #AtmosphericMeasurements and not the Imperial System of measurements. The #BoomSCUBADivingClub which began SCUBA Diving in the #UnitedStatesofAmerica's region began earlier in 1933, however the more detailed engineering originator of #HenryFleuss and #SiebeGordon in the #Europe region of the world again were in a region which the Metric System was applied for measurements. #AugustaDenayrouze and #BenoitRouquayrol who were from areas which utilize the Metric System back in the 1800s, which furthers my position and points in reference to my SCUBA Diving measurements being accurate due to the mathematic arithmetic equations.
Thus in SCUBA Diving 1 #AtmosphericMeasurement is 33 Meters, and 1 Meter is around 3 Feet.
1 #ATM = 33 #Meters = 1 Meter * 3.28084 #Feet = 108.268 Feet
In reference to my SCUBA Dive when in #Cozumel #Mexico going into the #GulfofMexico areas of the oceanic waters to SCUBA Dive, the deepest level I reached to pee at the bottom of the ocean was around 108 Atmospheric Measurements; which in turn the arithmetic I wrote in my three book series The Adventures of Susan MeeLing, SCUBA Diver Extraordinaire By: Reverend Susan MeeLing" is accurate; with the exception of the point of the .28084 after the Feet portion, for the arithmetic.

While some may have looked at such only to pay attention to the 108 portion when I wrote about such previously if I had not already discussed in person with you about the SCUBA Diving gear I had purchased in 2009, there is a major difference between 108 Feet and 108 Atmospheric Measurements. Admittedly I am not a #DiveMaster and though I earned 26 individual SCUBA Diving certifications which a #SCUBADiveMaster needs 5 SCUBA Diving Specialties with additional training, I had done and completed around the time of my 10th SCUBA Diving certification. To give a comparison for the level of studies for the understanding at a pun intended deeper levels of SCUBA Diving, because of what I foresaw was going to be needed in various circumstances from what I had seen in a nightmare when I was a child and teenager; though was changed after my head injury on Psalm Sunday in 2000, which during my time in Medical Hold Unit which is now Warrior Transition Unit. Admittedly for one of the final portions of what occurred in reference to my time in Medical Hold Unit, it took a bit for me to see where the changes were able to make more of a dreamy sort of existence because of how much had been accomplished. Nonetheless the reality of the requirements I put upon myself for my personal SCUBA Diving training was extremely important to correctly accomplish what was necessary completely, which Dive Masters I would think might understand. The only selfish-ish aspect of my SCUBA Diving was the bottom of the ocean aspect in reference of my wetsuit aspects and the location, as that was and is literally only my aspect for the personal reasons. Each other reason has essentially been not only for myself, though for much and many more.
I did speak of as well as post pictures of my SCUBA Diving in certain times during 2009, however I did not speak of what occurred in depth and pun intended in reference to another pun intended of larger reasons. Though the Instructors and other fellow SCUBA Divers I knew at the time may or may not have known about the measurement aspects, the individual who I was dating at the time who also was an Instructor at another location to the location I went through; none knew my plans nor did anyone else I knew beyond the one selfish-ish portion in the fullest contexts, I already admitted. To clarify the first one and only family vacation I was able to arrange for both of my children and I along with one of their cousins and one of my nieces was for such as though I had a feeling of certain portions, there was no way for me to clarify legitimately without going there myself. I had discussed with many individuals including my niece's mom or my ex-sister-in-law Susie about several reasons which she knew of the level of training I was putting myself through, though realistically at the point in time of 2021; there is an admitted guesstimation there are many more, who also did not have the knowledge or understanding of the depth levels the oceanic waters can be in regards of my landing upon the bottom in the multiple locations.
As you are able to see 108 Feet is still the equivalent of the number for the known safety depths of 108 Feet, as #OpenWaterSCUBADiving training is up to 130 Feet. However if the SCUBA Diving companies were/are making depth gauge measurement equipment in Atmospheric Measurements or if only the military grade SCUBA dive depth gauge I had purchased in 2009 was arranged in #Fathoms, 1 #Fathom equals 6 Feet.
Thus if the measurements for the military grade depth gauge computer measured in:
108 Fathoms = 6 Feet * 108 = 648 Feet
However because of the development of the measuring system at the time as well as the locations involved if the measurements hypothetically are actually 1 Fathom is the equivalent of 6 Meters while remembering the equation for Meters to Feet conversion which would mean 1 Meter = 3.28084 Feet, then the portions would be for the arithmetic:
108 Fathoms = 6 Meters * 3.208 Feet * 108 = 2,125.98432 Feet or to round upward 2,126 Feet just for the Cozumel Mexico SCUBA Dive I went to, for the four days and three nights. In turn the Cozumel Mexico SCUBA Dive which up until leaving for that trip, I had earned 23 SCUBA Diving certifications which includes my #FirstAid/#CPR/#AED certification as well as the assistance during a #RescueSCUBADiving certification course which I did not earn the #RescueSCUBADiver certification, for clarification as I only helped with the class at #ClearSpringsSCUBAPark #CSSP.
