YMCA 2018

One day while on one of my Medal of Honor Art Project trips I received a phone voicemail saying my son was injured at the YMCA camp, and when I called back I asked if I needed to return to Washington state from my trip early. I was told there was nothing more for me to do and nothing for me to worry about, because the doctor had taken care of the situation and my son would recover and be healthy thereafter. When I returned earlier than planned though not as early as I would have if I left instantly as I was ready to do, my son's school started for that year. Shortly after the first few hours of my birthday in that year my son said he wanted to graduate high school early to go into the Army branch of the Armed Forces of the United States of America, and I asked him several questions to ensure he was ready to make such a choice. He and I talked for a few hours and throughout the time before we went to a recruiter's office in Spanaway Washington, and where the Sergeant in Command was had recommended for my son to graduate high school early was where my son went for the Accelerated Academy graduation. He completed the courses in a shorter time than initially thought, and went to the Army shortly thereafter.

I heard from my son on my birthday in the year of 2019 the year he graduated early and went to the Army, and I informed him of what I was up to asking him if he needed or wanted me to meet up with him where he was. I was informed it was not of a need for me to show up, though when I was told he returned to Washington state I asked if he wanted me to arrange a MAC flight for him to be picked up by me to take him with me and the same response. I went back to Washington state twice to attempt to meet up with him without having the capacity to do so because of his responses, though I have reached out several times since then in order to ensure he is okay and doing well. Then I moved back to Washington for a brief amount of time and the situations that occurred in 2022 per the situations I already went through, regarding the location and the times.

I miss my son and I miss my daughter as I miss our family, and I hope both of them are doing well. #Letters4James #Letters4Lidia
