I do not make this choice easily as I have had these cards for a very long time, and the individual cards had given me inspiration during various points in my life especially after my Psalm Sunday 2000 head injury. Though they are mainly of #MichaelJordan with a few #ScottiePippen and #MajicJohnson cards, their perseverance during the games and matches they were in as well as the #NBAChampionships were much more to me than some might have ever understood of me before. Though I comprehend they have had many aspects of which their determination had caused many to aspire to their stature within the #NBALeague, it was not just their aspects of becoming #basketballlegends which assisted in my thought processes.
Then unlike now, I could watch a whole basketball game whether in person or on the television without any pain. Then unlike now I could listen to the announcers and hear the roar of the crowds, without my headache and migraine pain worsening. Then unlike now, I could stand and cheer on the players on the basketball courts. These cards are the last physical aspect which I have from when growing up before my Psalm Sunday 2000 head injury, as I am still physically myself but because of growing up these basketball cards are the last physical aspect from my childhood. Albeit I got them when in my teenager years, it does not change the fact it is from before my Psalm Sunday 2000 head injury. I had wanted to keep these cards and have them as a centerpiece for when able to build the housing unit set up idea for the veterans as a miniature Faery-sized get together each week after a the timeframe of for all of the guys to be able to gather around and relax, but I realize such might be of a different thought process to me than to some.
Albeit having been born and raised in #NewJersey and being a #Knicks and #Nets fan, I did enjoy watching the #ChicagoBulls as no one can deny truthfully watching Jordan and Pippen on the court with #DennisRodman, was awe inspiring. I have joked before in my own thoughts quietly of how the singer #Pink and #Rodman’s strength and innate abilities to overcome what they had and succeed becoming #legendary in their own right, had been a bit of an inspiration for the colors in the shades of red I went for at times over the years after first initially beginning the hair-dye for my haircut; while admitting of various shades of red which #ChristinaAguilera a favorite singer of mine for her versatility and #legend status of her voice has put on some of her products had been an additional attempt for various shades of red.

I have never removed them from the card holders of the pockets since getting them, as I earned them in the one bet I had made back in #Illinois many years ago back in 1999 where it was as simple as an arm-wrestling strength competition. I asked if he was sure if he really wanted to have an arm wrestling match against me and after he convinced the entire group in the house to convince me to “give it a shot”, and several asked “are you afraid to lose to a boy” among other comments and questions.
I gave them the response of “I know my strength, I am unsure if you understand that”, “you don’t understand who you are challenging”, and “are you sure you will be okay when you lose to a girl?”
Not one of the people in the house believed I would lose and instead of just one card of the set, the stakes were raised to the entire series by the time I agreed to be a part of the arm wrestling. The stereotypical way of the arm wrestling competition began with someone holding both hands while the male and I held each other’s and when the person who had their hands over ours said “3, 2, 1, go”; I slammed his arm to the table and won. The book of cards were handed to me and after hanging out for a little while after that, I left to return to the house in Crystal Lake.
