Civilians, Civility, COVID, Etiquette, Law Enforcement, & Military points of questions

This morning I received a phone call this morning and recently had gotten off of the second phone call back to the individual from one of the locations I had taken several of my Medal of Honor Art Project pieces to, in the state of Texas. As I had admitted to the male I spoke with on the phone from the #AmericanLegion #AL location which I guess was the Commander of, the initial phone call had been after I had woken and my headache pain levels were outweighed by the pain levels in each of my calves where two of my large tattoos are when on the second phone call with him. During the discussion I was able to answer the questions he had in reference to my Medal of Honor Art Project, in a brief way as the initial phone call there was some noises coming through the phone which had caused some difficulties in my understanding which was clarified in reference to the questions asked at the time. During the second phone call was when I had brought up the portions in reference to the pain levels from the areas in each of my calves where the tattoos are, of which the pain levels elevating from that is completely different than in reference to my headaches and migraines however the pain being stronger there than my headaches and migraines of the day which I deal with each day; gives the understanding of the levels of pain when that outweighs the levels of my daily headaches.

On the phone call he had told me the group was not able to hold meetings because of the aspects in reference to the #COVID not only because of the alcohol license situation, though also because of the reduced amount of people being permitted in the building because of the restrictions from the COVID. Since I have seen on facebook of the #suicideprevention movements because of the COVID causing more people to have mental health issues and the known fact of the average of 22 suicides per day in reference to #veterans from the United States of America's #ArmedForces, why is it that is the locations which veterans usually go to for discussions with others is being prevented from being open as well as being prevented from allowing more than just the COVID restriction numbers when they have given more to this country to sustain the United States of America? If this is going on not only in the state of Texas though some people want to complain in reference of the civilian sector in regards of the mental health crisis, where is the concern and the compassion for all of those who had served in the United States of America's Armed Forces? Where is the discussions to take care of those guys, who have given more than just their time to post one or two pictures online? Where are the discussions to bring forward the awareness that I know, I am not the only one who has realized such needs for attention to take care of?

I did not graduate Basic Training nor have I ever claimed to achieve anything which I had not personally earned, thus in such as I am considered as a veteran; why is it there has not been as much focus upon not only what I have brought to light before, though this as well previously?

Personally, I do not drink alcohol. It is not something I personally enjoy the after effects from because of the daily headaches, and however many times a week migraines. Those hangovers do not assist the pain levels for me, though I also do not stop others from drinking alcohol.

Thus in reference of any American Legion, #DisabledAmericanVeterans #DAV, #VeteransAffairs #VA, and/or #VeteransofForeignWars #VFW having the limitations put additionally on top of the restrictions previously placed on them because if I remember accurately; there was a set of regulations which labeled veterans in a government organization for an over watch on them, which I have yet to understand what the purpose of such was intended for to be in that regard. I am unsure if that over watch sort of aspect was begun during and/or after the Vietnam War, nor am I sure as to why that would have been done in the first place. Thus if there is hypothetically that sort of #overwatch, where is the outrage in reference to the treatment of the veterans in the United States of America not only for this particular aspect which I am writing of; though also in reference to why has so much been allowed to occur to the males and the females, who have given so much to the country of the United States of America and the citizens thereof? Was the over watch to make sure they were properly taken care of, and if so why has there been so many problems to their medical care? If it was it to monitor their activities and if so why, especially in comparison to how the civilian sector of the United States has been acting not only during the timeframe of the COVID though also in other situations? What was the purpose for such to occur, and what is it that was the cause for such?

If there is that aspect of the over watch in reference of the veterans of the United States of America in such a manner, why has it taken so long for multiple aspects to be recognized for their betterment? Why has the problems which have occurred to the veterans within the civilian sector been so aggrievous in reference to how civilians who have treated as they have, in certain groups and sectors? While I know not all civilians have treated veterans poorly, I know I am not the only one who has noticed such.

Then there is the irony in the word of civilian specifically in reference to the portion, of civil. Where is the civility among the civilian sector which so many over the years have told me they thought of themselves as better than the military personnel, law enforcement, fire department, and EMS individuals? Without such individuals there is not the ability for a civil society, though the irony of the aspects in reference to civility in regards of the aspects of how I and others have seen certain civilians in their actions as well as their words.

Especially in reference to 2b in the reference above, where have certain civilians manners been of a higher purpose in accordance to manners? I doubt I am the only person who has heard of or knows what etiquette means however for those who do not know, here is the definition from Merriam Webster.

etiquette

noun

et·i·quette | \ ˈe-ti-kət , -ˌket \

Definition of etiquette

: the conduct or procedure required by good breeding or prescribed by authority to be observed in social or official life

A journal blog entry I wrote years ago in fetlife on and called Etiquette

For the word "etiquette", we have the white flag raising, French to thank for this eloquent word. And while these males and females were taking their flag out from under their tablecloths to prevent anymore adversaries from happening; we have them to thank to have kept the evolution of man as proper as we are with such language as we have today; and the area of Europe to thank for keeping courtesies as high as possible.

From the time that we, as humans, learned to eat, we were learning table mannerisms, to properly address each other; and all throughout time, it has been nothing, but an up-hill battle with each other as to what is acceptable.

A brief story...

Once again, from the French...

King Louis XIV had a Scotsman gardener, who was trying to grow his garden. The gentleman wrote tickets of where to please politely not to step and where to step, but the courts-men and women refused to acknowledge him and his work. After a convincing discussion, King Louis XIV listened to the Scotsman's "etiquettes" and requests for the garden to "keep of the lawn" (thank you h_coyote) so the lawn and garden could grow.

So...where has our pride gone?

Where has our dignity gone?

Where has our politeness gone?

Where has chivalry gone?

Manners are made of trivialities of departments which can be learned as they are the exterior form of the inner self, just as the personality is.

It used to be that the most worth while person in society was the person with the most upstanding moral character, the quality of energy, descent speech, etc... Now...it is of wealth, social standing, etc...what has this world come to?

I will leave this journal with this...

One Philosopher was noted as saying something similar to this...

"When courtesies come from the heart, all of the heart; a moral elevation ensues."

Brightest blessings...

Thus while there have been those who do not understand or have not understood the aspects of civility and etiquette, I wonder if that has to do with the fact so many have not paid attention to the requirements of for a civilized society while forgetting the fact it is because of the military and law enforcement which assist in maintaining the #lawandorder for the community areas. While there are some who have caused issues in reference to the different areas more often than not, it is the civilian sector which has been the situation in which the law enforcement and the military have had to get involved because of their lack of civility at times. Maybe if the civilian sector would follow the same rules they want to enforce upon those in the la enforcement and the military communities, then there would not be the need for such. However since the civilian sector has gone out of their way to cause the problems which they have over the years, hence the development of the law enforcement agencies as well as the military communities.

Are there problems within both the law enforcement and the military communities? Yes, there have been. However usually the military and the law enforcement do what they can to find the problems involved and find solutions for the situations thereof, whereas the civilian sector seems to only want o complain and riot in comparison to peaceful protesting. Peaceful protesting does not include burning down buildings or locations, and if you need a reference of what peaceful protesting is then look up how Dr Martin Luther King Jr had completed peaceful protesting in comparison to the rioting that has occurred over the times of.

Now in such of wondering in reference to the over watch of the veterans in the United States of America then the wondering of mine is to making sure despite situations they maintain themselves to the best of their capabilities, in the just in case of a civil uprising as seen in this current era and the need for such individuals to step forward and speak up more about the experiences for a better understanding to assist more for the betterment and the actuality of civility. Despite some who I have known who looked down upon the military individuals which includes myself even though I did not graduate Basic Training, nonetheless I am still technically and have technically been put into that group which was looked down upon. I did not accomplish what those guys had however I still have given my respects and appreciation to what they have done to maintain especially in comparison.

Thus in reference to the current situations in which the civilian sector and the COVID in regards of the aspects of, I wonder if the average number of civilians who have committed suicide has reached the number of 22 average per day or if in certain references and regards, that was part of the aspects of the COVID to see if the ability in reference of civilians who have ostracized the veterans from various aspects would be able to tolerate what they themselves have done to others as well as their responses when out in public. What is the saying? What is good for the goose, is good for the gander? I know I am not the only person who has been ostracized or kept as an outcast because of different aspects though such is not only in reference to the veteran community of course, however the aspects of the military guys having such areas open in referenced to the America Legion, the Disabled American Veterans, the VA, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars facilities assist in multiple ways. However I hope the veteran community has been able to do better and succeed far more, despite the situation; not that I do not care about the civilian sector though I have not hidden my concern for the military, law enforcement, fire department, and EMS communities.

In turn also noting how many did not want to pay attention to the importances I brought up in reference of my daughter and my son in regards of what was occurring back from 2008 through 2013 after McCoy Elementary School's effect to my children in some of the areas of the communities I and been a part of in those times and the treatment of by some, how has the time of the COVID affected you? Can you see how the portions which I brought up in discussions previously as well as writings, may have had more of an impact than was realized initially? Additionally when taking into consideration of the portions to the fact I had not hidden my Republicanism ideals though was treated as such in the ways, how do those who had problems with such feel in reference to those aspects now in comparison to then? I knew I was not the only one who was ostracized for such political views, and as I said and wrote before; there are ways to agree to disagree, in a more peaceful manner. How the responses are is a choice, which each individual is in control of each own response.

Are you proud of how you responded during those times, as well as how you responded to now? What have you done during the time, of COVID? Who have you helped and/or, attempted to help? Where have your priorities been? When or if have you reevaluated your own personal stances, choices, opinions, actions, and etcetera since the beginning of the COVID aspects?

Are there any portions which you have improved, or seen where to improve upon?

However I am glad the pieces from my Medal of Honor Art Project were well received and I hope, my Medal of Honor Art Project pieces bring a bit of cheer and gladness.
