Today there was an event for a #KAG #TrumpVictory2020 rally at the #CottonCountryDancehall in #Granger #Texas of which the bus from the #TrumpTrainTour had also arrived a little bit, after th event began. There were plenty of fantastic people to speak without throughout the event both inside of the venue as well as outside whether on the sidewalk in the front, or in the back seating patio area with a separate stage area. Several people sang as well as played different music throughout the afternoon and beginning of the evening, as well as after a certain point there were speakers o the stage as the individuals throughout the crowds listened and commented among themselves. I was lucky enough to be able to be allowed to bring a few of my Medal of Honor Art Project Artwork pieces to put on display in the back area for some to get a look at to see, and later on I gave a bit more of an explanation as some videotape recorded the process of showing and answering questions towards the end of the evening.
While I would like to be able to write more of what the speakers had discussed, I cannot truthfully for a multitude of reasons; however there is something which is of importance for me to write about, as one of the females who runs the #WomenForTrump meetings on Wednesday had told me there was one of the handful of survivors from the World War II Iwo Jima event at the event. There was a male who thankfully assisted to carry over the pieces of Artwork to the male named Dudley, which when showing and explaining to him, his eyes seemed to light up seeing one of the pieces of my Medal of Honor Art Project I had brought to the event. I could have taken any one or group from the 13 pieces I picked up, though I did bring four of the 13 pieces from the 13 of 29 that I had dropped off initially earlier in August before picking up what was possible. If you have ever been to a Hebrew Shabbat service and the aspects of the Torah movements during the service aspects, would be the ideal way to describe how I showed the survivor from Iwo Jima of the artwork pieces. Lloyd Hughes seemed to catch Dudley's attention and that simply was amazing to see, as those connection points seemed as fond memories and banter that some understand in reference of childhood and teenage year friendships that went as they had over time. In this case as Lloyd Hughes had passed on though had earned a Medal of Honor for his choices of actions to take during World War II which was also the same war Dudley had been involved in at Iwo Jima, it seemed as though some good flashbacks went through Dudley's thoughts as he held the artwork piece of Lloyd Hughes for my Medal of Honor Art Project; and I truly hope he and others were able to enjoy the aspects of while the event occurred, as I did what I could to try to remember to flip the sides to be able to see both aspects of each portion of the artwork pieces. Selfishly I felt in awe standing near such an individual who was able to survive such events of the Iwo Jima landing onto the island to go through the various jungle areas to survive and alert the United States of America of the success, once certain points had been reached. However those individuals pushed on and pushed forward to bring forth a victory and a betterment in the various ways possible, as such is an extremely pertinent example of the greatest generation for what was occurring at the time.
As the rest of the evening went forward and I was able to listen to the speakers as possible as well as speak with the individuals as I could, eventually it was time for me to get back to my apartment. On my way to the Cotton Country Dancehall in Granger, I had noticed a blueish oddly colored area of liquid mixed with water. Up the road on highway 971 is a factory plant and down a bit is where the blue mixture is. I did not smell anything off however there was a large pile of cow poop nearby which had no odor in comparison; so if that is something to take into consideration, I am sure there are some scientists who would be able to find out more of such. I stopped to make the video on the way back to Austin, from Granger Texas. From the video you can see the difference of the blue liquid and the lack of greenery around the immediate area, though is further away and not even the slightest bit of grass nearby nor cattail plants near the water as most lakes and streams have.
